All Risk Insurance provides coverage for special property items not insurable under the Building and Contents Property insurance. The All Risk Insurance covers fine art, mobile equipment, water craft, leased equipment, property in transit, and property on loan to the Institute for official business. Deductible: $500.

Building and Contents Insurance
Building and Contents Insurance provides protection to the Institute for direct physical loss or damage to Institute own property. Covered causes of loss include fire, lightning, explosion, windstorm, water damage, vandalism, flood, and burglary. Losses are reimbursed based on the documented cost to repair or replace the building or contents with like kind and quality. Deductible: $1,000 (laptop computers $1,000 per unit when cause of loss is burglary). Evidence of forcible entry or breach of a security device required for compensable burglary claims.

Trip Transit Insurance
Trip Transit Insurance covers Georgia Tech-owned property, including equipment on loan to Georgia Tech, equipment shipped out for repairs, and leased or rented equipment (being shipped back to the owner) via commercial carrier by Georgia Tech. The deductible is $5,000 per item shipped.
Trip Transit Insurance Form - GT Owned property leased, rented, or shipped for repairs
Trip Transit Insurance covers shipments for Sponsored-owned property when shipped via commercial carrier by Georgia Tech. The deductible is $10,000 per shipment, and the maximum liability coverage is $600,000.
